A right way of Shampoo and Conditioning

Hello, friends welcome to glittersallthat.com and here I am with a new post. It’s about a right way of doing shampoo and conditioner or I must say a right way of hair wash. For the perfect growth of the hairs, it is very important to wash your hairs in the correct way so here I am to share with you some steps which you can follow to get long and shiny hairs. So let’s get started….

Our scalp contains dirt, odor and with that, it also has natural oils and potion. Let’s see how and when to shampoo and condition the hair and what is the right way to do so.

If you regularly wrap your hairs in the hot towel, it may make your hairs dry and lead to hairfall problem. To avoid this you have to be careful while conditioning. There should be a gap of 2 to 3 days in each hair wash.

» Now let’s see how to shampoo correctly –

  • Before doing a hair wash just massage your hairs and scalp nicely. Generally, when we wash our hairs natural oils also gets washed away, so to retain the oil just massage the roots and hairs before  1 hour of the hair wash. If you want you can use almond oil, coconut oil or a mustard oil.
  • Detangle the hairs before wash, as this may lead to less breakage.
  • Firstly wet the hair with lukewarm water and leave them for 30-40 seconds.
  • Never apply a shampoo directly to the hair, it may cause damage to the hairs. Take a shampoo in a mug and mix a sufficient amount of water in it to reduce the chemical effect.
  • After applying the shampoo massage the roots and scalp with light hands and using fingers. Never use nails.
  • Just lather up and massage your hairs using shampoo from roots till the end and then wash it off using lukewarm water till shampoo get washed off completely.
  • Always use a good brand of shampoo. A good shampoo is one with less chemical contained in it.

This was all about hair wash and now it’s time for conditioning the hair.

» How to condition the hairs in the right way –

  • Conditioning helps in a good growth of the hairs. If in hurry you can wash of conditioner just after applying it but this will not make hairs that smooth and shiny as it will be if you apply and leave it for some time.
  • After doing the shampoo apply the conditioner on the hair and leave it for 2-3 minutes so it gets absorbed in the hairs.
  • Never use conditioner on the scalp or roots of the hair as the oil made by using conditioner may stop the growth of the hairs. There are few conditioners available in the market which can be used on the scalp.
  • Length of the hair decides how much conditioner is needed or should be applied.
  • If your hairs are too long you will need a palm full of conditioner so it can be applied from mid of your hairs till the end. As the ends of the hairs are old so they are more prone to damage so conditioning helps them and protect them from damage.
  • In the end, wash your hairs with cold water. The benefit of cold water is it removes dead skin and also closes the hair cuticle making hair moist and shiny.
  • Dry your hair using a towel, never rub the hairs roughly with the towel. If you rub your hairs roughly to make them dry this may make them rough and lifeless.
  • After your hairs get dry completely detangle them using a brush as it helps in natural oil retention and leads to the healthy growth of hairs.
  • Always read how to use or direction to use on conditioner pack and use it according to the instruction.
  • Never wash your hairs daily as this may remove natural oils from the scalp and make hairs dry, frizzy and non-shiny.
