Since summers are coming in full swing so I just thought of sharing with you a sunscreen review and there will be more such reviews in coming days. So let’s start with the review.

An innovative Sunblock which is totally non-oily and provides a fresh and clean finish to the face, neck and hands. It protects against all forms of Sun-induced damage: skin tan, sunburn, premature ageing and skin cancer.

Product Detail and My experience of Using it –

Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Uv Screen Matte Gel Pa+++ Spf – 50 sunscreen comes in an orange color opaque tube with a flip top cap on it which makes it spill proof and travel-friendly packaging. It is gel based sunscreen and is white in color which when applied absorbs quickly. Generally, control in summer I have oily T Zones for which I was searching for an oil control sunscreen and to my rescue came this sunscreen as it gives a perfect matte finish with high SPF and controls excess oil secretion. After application, it gives a cooling effect. Fragrance is very mild and flowery. I think this is very good sunscreen for people for oily to normal skin if you are looking for gel based sunscreen.

Now let’s see the Pros and Cons of the Sunscreen –

Pros –

• Absorbs into skin easily
• Gives a smooth and matte finish
• Gives a soothing and cooling effect on the skin
• Ideal for normal to oily skin people
• Does not feel heavy and cakey after application
• High SPF
• Travel-friendly packaging
• Easily available

Cons –

• I feel it is on a quite expensive side as per the quantity
• Contains Paraben in it

Rating –

I would rate it 4/5 due to cost and paraben content

Final Verdict – 

I would give it a buy rating as it has a high SPF, plus it is a gel based sunscreen which makes it very light in application and can also be used as a base for the makeup as well and it does what all it claims.
