Hello friends welcome back to glittersallthat.com, hope you all are doing well so here I am with a new review and it’s about Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner 01 Black. As we all know diamonds are girls best friend and now the same is with eyeliners. A perfect classic wing or a dramatic eyeliner adds wonders to a makeup and enhances the eye look. So let’s see what does a Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner 01 Black holds for us and how was my experience of using it.

Claims on the Product –

This waterproof eyeliner has a long-lasting gel formula that achieves dramatic eye look easily. Whether you go thick, thin smudged or smoky, your look will last day to night.

Ingredients –

Trimethylsiloxysilicate, cyclopentasiloxane, isododecane, cyclohexasiloxane, ceresin, caprylyl methicone, silica silylate, lauroyl lysine, disteardimonium hectorite, propylene carbonate, hydroxyapatite, triethoxycaprylylsilane, [+/- may contain: CI 77499 / iron oxides, CI 77007 / ultramarines, CI 77266 / Black 2].

My Experience of Using It –

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner 01 Black comes in a cardboard packaging inside which is a small tub containing a gel eyeliner. Well, it’s been a more than a year now since I am using this eyeliner and It is one of the best eyeliner till date I have come across. It glides so smoothly and gives such an intense black finish. It comes with an applicator which has a cap on it which makes it hygienic. The quality of the applicator is superb and it is very easy to apply. They have relaunched it with a change in a packaging so the one I have is of old packaging. It stays for 6-7 hours and is completely waterproof and smudge proof. The only thing which has disappointed me is that after a year  it has dried out as this is a major issue with all gel eyeliners but this Maybelline one dry faster than other gel liners.

Now let’s see the Pros and Cons of the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner –

Pros –

• Highly Pigmented
• Easy to apply
• The applicator is of good quality and comes with cap making it hygienic
• Waterproof
• Smudge-proof
• Gives a matte finish
• Good staying power

Cons –

• It gets dried out very fast
• It is quite pricey and not budget friendly

Rating –

I would rate it 4/5 as the only issue is it dries out super fast into the pot.

Final Verdict –

I would definitely give it a high buyer rating as it is worth having due to the high number of pros and I feel it is one of the best eyeliner available at present.
