Starting with the first review of the year which I wanted to be something special it’s about Smashbox Always On Mini Matte Duo X Malvika Sitlani – Drivers Seat & Babe Alert. I recently got my hands on both these minis and I was eyeing them for a long and recently in the Nykaa Pink Friday sale they came back in stock.

I have heard a lot of fellow bloggers raving about these minis from Smashbox and I thought why not try them out and share my experience about these Smashbox minis with you.

Product Details and My Experience of Using It –

Smashbox Always On Mini Matte Duo X Malvika Sitlani comes in a white color cardboard packaging having both the shades of lipstick on it with a photo of Malvika Siltalni on it. Inside this are both the lipstick wrapped in black color paper.

Both the lipstick comes in a transparent acrylic packaging which helps in recognizing the shade clearly. It has a black screw-up cap on it which makes it quite sturdy to use. It comes with a reservoir tip applicator which makes it very convenient to use and get a precise application.

The shade Driver seat is a warm pink shade and babe alert is a nude rose shade. Both the shades are nude and can be easily worn on regular basis.

Now coming to my experience of using them. I have tried and tested both the shades. So let’s talk about both the shades one by one.

Babe Alert –

This is a very pretty light mauve pink shade which would definitely look good on fair to medium skin tone but would wash off the deeper skin tones. This shade looks perfect with makeup and without makeup. It looks so natural on the lips.

Driver Seat –

This is a very beautiful peachy rose nude light color shade. It is a perfect shade and will go with both light as well as heavy makeup and also with no makeup. This shade is pretty good as compared to the babe alert and it will compliment every skin tone perfectly.

Now coming to the application it is very lightweight on lips and doesn’t make lips dry at all. It stays for around 6 hours. I loved the wand as it is very precise to use. The pigmentation is quite rich and one swap is perfect. It is not 100% transfer-proof lipstick.

In Brief

Smashbox Always On Mini Matte Duo X Malvika Sitlani is a perfect day to day wear liquid lipstick as both the shades are perfect for regular wear. These do not dry out the lips and has a very lightweight formula. The wand is perfect to get a very neat application.

Final Verdict

I loved the formula of lipstick and the shade driver seat is my favorite out of both. It’s a good option to try the mini before investing in a full-size lipstick as Smashbox is a luxury brand and I prefer before spending so many bucks on the full size, you should try out the minis to get your perfect shade.

I would surely recommend you to try out this minis from Smashbox.
